π‘ Need some inspiration?
If you're reading this, you probably don't need much convincing that organic social media is one of the most effective channels in which to attract, nurture and convert B2B customers... yet it is criminally under-utilised by the vast majority of companies.
For some, this is down to an assumption that buyers don't use it to aid their decision-making.
This is dead wrong. 75% of B2B buyers are influenced by the information they find on social media.
But for others - usually one-person or small marketing teams - the use of handshake stock images and seemingly self-obsessed statements of grandeur simply comes down to a lack of bandwidth.
With so many other plates to spin, thinking of creative ideas for your social media accounts can fall down the priority list.
The problem is that this kind of stuff will turn off your prospects faster than your boss noticing a spelling mistake in your latest tweet.
So this week, Iβm sending you something a little different to help you out.
Iβve pulled together 30 quick-fire ideas to wet your creative whistle and improve your social media game across LinkedIn, Twitter, Clubhouse, TikTok and more today.

Here are five of my favourites:
Take people behind the scenes. Humanise your brand by showing your audience how you run your business. Interview employees on their work. Show how the sausage gets made. This is great not only for clients but also for potential employees.
If you're already ghostwriting blog posts for your execs, consider having them post it first as a LinkedIn Article and then sharing it across your brand account. I've done this before to great effect when trying to grow my brand's organic reach.
You know Zoom has a record feature, right? And with a little design TLC to include some backgrounds, title cards and other elements, you can repurpose what at face value looks like a regular chat into a fantastic piece of episodic, branded content.
Employee takeovers can be a fun way to give a more human feel to social channels that are perhaps a little dusty and also elevate the reputation of your in-house talent. They're also a great, low-effort idea for when you have a gap in your content calendar.
Run through a live customer onboarding on Twitch with an actual live customer to show how quick it is to get up and running with your product. Use it as an opportunity to run through any FAQs that come your way.
β¦and hereβs my podcast
Every two weeks I sit down with aΒ marketing leader to learn how they hit their goals by thinking outside the box - and dig into how this can be applied to other B2B businesses. Here are a few of my most recent episodes.
You can also find the B2B Better on Apple Podcasts and almost all other podcast directories.
And that's it! See you next week.
