š I'm Launching a Website
And leaving Substack.
TLDR: Iām launching a website that will be the home to all my content moving forward. Check it out š www.jasonrbradwell.com
Iām also migrating over to Mailchimp from next week. You donāt need to do anything but check your junk folder next Monday 10am UK time in case the email transfer fairies made a mistake.
So, this is my last newsletter⦠on Substack.
Truth is, Iāve outgrown it.
When I first started sending a weekly essay on how to build and scale modern-day B2B marketing strategies all the way back in November 2020, I needed a platform that allowed me to just get writing and not worry about all the design/hosting/payment malarky that comes with ārunning a blogā.
And Substack gave that to me.
But now things are different.
I want more control over the look and feel of my work. Iām not promising youāll want to mint an NFT on any of my future newsletters, but hopefully theyāll be a little more visually pleasing to the eye.
I need to better tighten up the distribution of what I publish and this means automation. And to the best of my knowledge, thereās limited options available to me while I use Substack.
And I have to offer some level of segmentation. Itās crazy I canāt send personalised emails to folks who only want info on my podcast, for example, or cleanse my database of people who havenāt opened in a long time.
And I donāt plan on monetising my newsletter through subscriptions - a major USP of the platform. So itās time to move on.
Today Iām launching my new website - jasonrbradwell.com - which will be the home of all my content moving forward. Iāll also be moving over to Mailchimp as my email tool.
What does this mean for you? Only more content, better designed and personalised for you. Soon Iāll be asking you to tell me what kind of stories you want to see in your inbox and in what format - and Iāll finally be able to deliver it, thanks to my new set-up.
My next newsletter is being sent Monday 13 September at 8am UK time. As itās the first one being sent by Mailchimp, it may get caught in a filter.
Keep your eyes peeled and check your junk folder if it doesnāt come through.
So, thatās it for this week. Iāll see you next Monday AM - just like always - with a new and improved look.
One more thingā¦
